Shri Jagadguru Gangadhar Boys High School was established in 1946, with the blessings and guidance of his holiness, Late Shri Manmaharaj Niranjan Jagadguru  Dr. Gangadhar Rajayogindra Mahaswamiji of Moorusavirmath Hubli, and now graced by his holiness, Shri Gurusiddha Rajayogindra Mahaswamiji and it is being run by the eminent and efficient members of the Management. A new well equipped building was constructed and inaugurated in the year 1966. The school  is amongst one of the finest school in Hubli City and is  located in the heart of the city and rendering its best service in educational field since 72 Years now. It follows Karnataka State Board Syllabus and is centre for SSLC Board Examination.

Karnataka State Board syllabus gives equal importance to both curricular and Co -curricular activities to the high School boys. The NCC Unit of the school has more than 100 JD (Boys) enrollment each Year. Every Year nearly 200 students pass out SSLC Board Examination. Since its establishment the school has maintained fame and name through its contribution towards educating High School Boys.
